THE CAROUSEL!

One of the girls taking a picture of me.

Hailey loved climbing on this hammer head shark. and while she looked at it she asked what I thought was a very logical question, "mom, where are his eyes?"

Sissy being goofy

Hailey taking a closer look and playing dentist. She said she thought she saw food in his teeth.

The smart tiger in the pond cooling off while we were all frying in 90 deg. heat

This tiger just paced back in forth in front of the kids and they all thought it was awesome seeing one that close. I just think the tiger had one thing on his mind, "mmmm, lunch!"

Sissy telling Tevis all about the monkeys! She just loved watching them swing from branch to branch!

Though it's hard to see what she was doing to her face, Hailey was imitating the monkeys sticking their lips and tongues out.

I had to put these last 2 pics on here because Hailey is very proud of them. She took them herself and I think she did a wonderful job!

AMERICAN IDOL CONCERT!!

As many of you know I am a die hard American Idol fan. This season in paticular. Yes I voted every single night it was on for about an hr. straight, I know I need a life.
Anyways, this yr. was extremely talented and I thought It would be awesome to see them Live. So 2 mos. ago I ordered the tickets and this past weekend I took my best friend (and sister in law) Melissa and we went to the show! We had some great seats too. We sat on one of the sides only two sets of bleachers back from the stage and the 7th row up from the floor.
It was so nice to be kid free and we had such a wonderful time together.

Melissa and I taking the shuttle to the arena!
Sisters at heart!!

We were tearing up during one of the songs.

#9: RAMIEL & #10: CHEKEZIE

#8: MICHAEL JOHNS

THE HOTTIE!
He was by far my favorite overall performer and in my mind should have stayed on alot longer than he did. When he came on stage everyone went wild. He even wrote a song that had a blues feel to it and said, " I wrote this for all of the ladies out there"! Wow was he good looking and what an awesome voice!
Oh, did I mention he is from Australia??

#6: CARLY SMITHSON & #7: KRISTY LEE

KRISY LEE: The country girl
Of course I liked her because most of her songs were country. She did sing "I'm proud to be an American" which everyone stood up for.

CARLY SMITHSON: The Rocker
I really like Carly too because she had more of an edge to her look and to her voice. She really didn't care what people thought and she did an incredible job performing!

#5: BROOKE WHITE

Brooke was by far my favorite female of the competition. She had an incredible voice and is very musically talented. She played both the guitar and the piano during her performance.

IDOL GIVES BACK:
The first 6 that were voted off (of the top 10) of the American Idol came out and performed a song while there was a video playing above them. American Idol was part of a huge fundraiser called Idol Gives Back. Millions of dollars were donated to those in need in Africa and America. The video was a thank you to those who contributed to these lives that have been changed by their generosity. It was pretty amazing!

#3: SYESHA & #4: JASON CASTRO

Althought these 2 were probably my least 2 favorites of American Idol, they really did a great job singing for the concert. Syesha sang "Umbrella" by Rihanna and Jason sang "Over the rainbow" w/ the ukulele.
