Havin' fun with Uncle Seth and Heather!

This past Sat. Seth and Heather watched the girls for a couple of hours and judging by the pictures.... They had an AWESOME time!

Hailey just looooves this frog of Heather's. The first time she saw it I think she was like 3 years old and about a yr. later she went to her house and remembered playing with and asked Heather if she still had it. What a memory!

Not really sure what Sissy was doing here!

AN AMAZING MAN!---WE'LL MISS YOU GRANDPA!

Last Saturday was a very sad day for me. My Grandpa, mom's Dad, passed away at the age of 89. Though it was sad to see him in the hospital, after having a massive stroke, we were uplifted in knowing just what he has accomplished here on earth and all of the lives that he has touched so deeply.
Just a few of his many accomplishments:
1.) Engineer for B& O railroad for years
2.) Pilot instructor during WWII. He trained pilots that flew over Germany and Japan
3.) AWESOME Husband, Father, and Grandfather
4.) Man of God
One thing that G-pa did not want was a funeral so on Wednesday we held what we called a "Celebration!" We celebrated his life and had such a good time reminiscing with family, friends, and people I had never even met, but because of this man, had that opportunity. He touched so many lives and we will miss him for sure!!
WE LOVE YOU GRANDPA!

I LOVE Roses!

These beautiful flowers were from a bouquet that lay next to Grandpa's casket at his Memorial. My mom made us all different bouquets that included the flowers from the very large arrangement. I absolutely LOVE roses and these are just beautiful!

Thanks Joe!

I know I haven't shown alot of pictures of improvements on the house lately, probably because there hasn't been much to speak of, but I wanted to show that at least something was accomplished. There use to be a nasty, dusty, 80's fan that hung off center in the dining room. I have hated it ever since moving in but hadn't gotten around to replacing it. Well thanks to Joe I now have this sweet contemporary light over my table. We had to hook it up to the fan wires that were already there and swag the chain over so that it was centered over the table. I thought it turned out really cool and I LOVE the softer lighting!

Beautiful Girl!

Hailey still loves to play with her beloved Lula, her very first baby from Cindy!
This year Lula gets to experience the country and spend some time outside!
They will actually put her in the stroller and zoom her down the slide which is pretty entertaining to watch!

BEAUTIFUL GIRL!

My little thief!

Hailey had brought out her baby, stroller, and diaper bags to play with on the swing set. Sissy discovered them and decided to make a break with them when Hailey wasn't watching. So she gathered up everything and ran up the hill and left them on the top. Just watching her try to maneuver with all of this just cracked me up!
Sissy is always good for a laugh!

Very proud of herself!

Heading back down the hill to return the merchandise to her sister! LOL!

MY (DAD'S) GARDEN!

This year, since my mom and dad no longer have a large garden, they have used my garden in my backyard to extend their vegitation. Dad has put so much time and hard work into making it so beautiful!
We currently have: spinach, diff. kinds of lettuce, cabbage, tomatoes, peas, green beans, spuash, zuccini, and cucumbers
The girls just love the fact that we can go get any of these things right from the backyard. Hailey loves picking the peas and weeding and once the tomatoes are in I know she'll just love that too. Sissy helps me out with the lettuce and spinach
One of my fondest memories as a kid, though I didn't care for it then, is Dad, me and my brothers all sitting on 5 gal. buckets weeding our huge garden and snapping beans with mom. It was a great time to talk and catch up and I now realize how special that time was for all of us.
Now, THANKS TO MOM AND DAD, I can enjoy those memories with my beautiful daughters!

Hailey's last soccer game!

Well, Hailey made it back from California just in time to play her last soccer game of the season. (Last Sat.) She had quite the crowd this time cheering her on which I think helped her aggressiveness a little more. Also, this time we tried 2 on 2 instead of 1 on 1 like all the other games have been. They did a great job working as a team!

Hailey and Pallace (behind Hailey) trying to get the ball!

Pallace passing it to Hailey from the sidelines.

Sissy practicing her own soccer moves. She actually does a great job dribbling the ball with her feet. Next year I think I'll put her in.

Hailey took a picture of their wonderful trophys they received!

My Size 5!!!!

Just a couple of days ago I went to one of my favorite clothing stores, Maurices, where they were having an incredible sale. I found this dress on the rack and absolutely loved it! However, I was not going to try it on because the tag said size 5 and I usually wear a size 8. But since it was the only one left on the rack my friend Heather talked me into trying it on. It was the perfect fit!!!!! I was so excited because I have never worn a size 5 in my life! And the best part? It was on sale for $19.99!! I also knew the woman that worked there and she showed me a large glass ring that would look perfect with it so I bought it too along with beautiful lavender earrings.

Hailey's Photography!

Right before going into the restaurant Hailey wanted to take a picture of me so I posed. It turned out so cute! And look at how well my new purses matches my dress! LOL!

Taking after her mom and cousin Chelsey with taking self portraits.
She's doing really well centering her face in the picture!
