MEET JOE!

Well, as some of you already know, but many still do not, I have started to date again. I met Joe 1 month ago tommorrow and we had an immediate chemistry! He is an amazing man: very thoughtful, caring, affectionate, humble, intelligent and is great with children (he has 2 of his own ages 9 and 10).
The pictures below are taken by his mom, who he takes care of since she has broken her hip,
right before we headed out to see Jesus Christ Super Star.
We had an incredible time!

Daddy's birthday party!

This year for Daddy's birthday all he wanted was the family around the dinner table so I set out to make that happen. All of our lives get so busy that we don't get together as much as we'd like so every chance we can get, we do it. It was so nice to have us all in one place, Except for my brother Sam, Mel and Eloise in France-we missed you! Everyone contributed to the wonderful meal:
Heather and Seth-lasagne rolls
Wes and Cheryl- dessert
Me- Salad
Uncle Bob and Aunt Claudia- garlic bread
BON APPETITE!

I have learned from Cheryl that presentation is everything.
So how'd I do on my salad?

A Delicious lemon raspberry pie that Cheryl's sister, Arlena made. She and Cheryl are wonderful cooks and have both catered!

Cheryl displaying the delicious cake!
They also brought a red velvet cake which was very yummy!

SMALL GROUP OUTREACH!

About a week before Valentines Day our small group got together and decided to do an outreach project.
I have a friend who, just this past year, was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphona. She is married to a wonderful man named Doug and has 3 beautiful children: Lauren, Caleb, and Audrey. Missy is an incredible christian and has kept the most positive attitude through this whole ordeal. Her dad use to be the pastor at our church and she has an incredible family and support system.

So for Valentines Day I thought it would be great to make beautiful encouragement cards for her and her family! We also sent some candy for their kids.
It was a great time to fellowship as well as reach out to a family who needs support and prayers.
Please keep them in your prayers and here is their blogsite link if you would like to keep up on her progress.

Putt-Putt

The girls received a gift card a piece from Uncle Dave and Aunt Kim for X-mas and we just got around to spending them. The girls picked out some really cool activity stuff that can be fun for in or outdoors. They bought hula-hoops that light up, frisbee disk, putt-putt, lots of spuirt guns, and a missile launcher.
THANK YOU UNCLE DAVE AND AUNT KIM!

Missile Launcher fun!

The girls just loved the missile launcher. Hailey invented her own game to play and they had alot of fun with it. One person, or two, would hold the hula hoops out and you had to try to get the missile through both of them. She is so inventive and creative!

The Ice Storm of 2009!

These pictures are compliments of my Dad the photographer!
He did an incredible job of taking these pictures and showing the beauty of the storm. I know many people were without power, but we were fortunate enough to keep ours. I did get stuck going up the driveway and Dad had to help me.

I loved the contrast of the cardinal against the ice!

Wes, Cheryl and the girls took Hailey, Sissy and I to their favorite sled riding hill at Licking Valley High School, My alma mater!
We had an awesome time and it was a beautiful day for it!
