Mom and Dad bought Seth a pressure cooker to do his own canning!
This may seem odd to some but Seth loves canning and this year did his own pickles, apple butter, and jelly but with this cooker he will be able to do much much more!

Knowing that this was going to be his present, I bought him 1/2 pint jars for his jam!

Papa came over yesterday morning to see Hailey get on the bus. But it was sprinkling so they all grabbed their umbrellas and it made for some great pictures!

HAILEY'S FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!

Well, it has arrived. The day Hailey has been waiting for for over a year now. Yes she has wanted to go to school since she was 4 (crazy kid). Of course I took quite a bit of pix to document the day from start to finish!

All I said to Hailey was "punkin, it's your first day of school" and she shot up with a huge grin and hurried out to get dressed! (this pic. was obviously before I woke her)

Situating her bus pin. Everyone kindergartener wears a pin with their bus # on it for the first week. Her name was spelled wrong on this one so she actually came home with a diff. one but she still wore it proudly!

Awww She is so grown up!

Her beautiful hair and ICarly Backpack! We love to watch ICarly and luckily Wal-Mart had an awesome ICarly backpack that just shimmered with glitter. Very cool!

finally the bus has arrived. Hailey gave me a quick hug and had no problems going onto the bus. In fact, I think I saw a hop in her step because she was so excited.

I didn't realize what was in this pic. until I downloaded it and it's actually pretty cool. The highlighted window with the reflectors (totally unplanned I swear!lol) was where Hailey sat and she is leaning back talking to her friend McKenzie who's arm is on the back of the seat. McKenzie and Hailey have went to the same daycare all summer so they know each other well along with a little boy Carter who is also on the bus!

Her teacher wrote in her folder that she had a very good day and Hailey said she had alot of fun and loves her teacher Mrs. Gerlach , who is actually a friend of mine from years ago. She was in my youth group at church. Very cool!\

ROAD TRIP TO CONNECTICUT!

Last Fri. the girls and I set off on an adventure! We drove 12 hours to see my BFF's sister Mindy get married. We got to see their entire family and spend the whole weekend with them. It was a AWESOME!
Thank you Mindy and Craig for letting us crash at your house and for feeding us delicious food! You guys are so great!!

The girls were wonderful the entire drive and we only had to stop 3 times on the way there. I am SO PROUD of them!!
